Awana is a dynamic ministry that is all about fun with a purpose — for kids to know Jesus, grow in their knowledge of Jesus, and to show Jesus to others! Our Awana program has clubs for children from Pre-K through 6th grade, and occurs on Wednesday nights from 6:30 – 8 pm at Triangle Community Church.
We need volunteers to make AWANA a success!
- T&T Boys Leader– participate with 3rd through 6th grade boys in learning verses and playing games.
- Time Commitment: About 2 hours on Wednesday evening. Occasional support to prepare and teach a short lesson is desired, but not required.
- Rotation: Consistent participation is desired.
- T&T Girls Leader– participate with 3rd through 6th grade girls in learning verses and playing games.
- Time Commitment: About 2 hours on Wednesday evening. Occasional support to prepare and teach a short lesson is desired, but not required.
- Rotation: Consistent participation is desired.
- Sparks Leader– participate with kindergarten through 2nd grade students in learning verses and playing games.
- Time Commitment: About 2 hours on Wednesday evening. Occasional support to prepare and teach a short lesson is desired, but not required.
- Rotation: Consistent participation is desired.
- Cubbies Leader– participate with preschool grade students in learning verses and playing games. Cubbies parents must volunteer somewhere in AWANA.
- Time Commitment: About 2 hours on Wednesday evening.
- Rotation: Consistent participation is desired.
- Secretary– Assist the leaders by keeping records.
- Time Commitment: About 2 hours on Wednesday evening.
- Rotation: Consistent participation is desired.
