The 26th annual Awana Hike will be held at Bond Park on Saturday, November 2, 2019. You, your family, and friends are invited to join us! We will have a great time playing kickball, hiking, playing at the playground, and eating lunch together on a very beautiful day.
We are meeting in the Grassy Area (Spillway) between the top of the lake and the Community Center. Follow the “Community Center” signs and park in that parking lot. We will be just across the road in the Grassy Area. Click here to see and print a a map of Bond Park.
We will meet for kickball at 9:30 am, play until about 10 or 10:15 am, head out on our hikes, and then meet together for a Bring Your Own picnic lunch on the grass and a few picnic tables. After eating, there can be a time of open play time, as you and your family desire. If you want, you can even go to the boathouse and rent a canoe, kayak, or paddle boat! We’ll be wrapping up as an Awana group between 12:30 and 1:00 pm.
There are two levels of hikes:
- Sparks – 1/2 mile hike then play at the Lazy Daze Playground (until T&T hike is done)
- T&T – 2 mile hike around Bond Lake
Hope to see you there!
