Our commitment to the Great Commandment and the Great Commission guides our mission and the stewardship of our resources. Launched in April of 2014, The Extraordinary Challenge was an exciting declaration of what we trusted God to accomplish. During the two-year period, May 2014 thru April of 2016 we committed to:
- Building our Next Generation Discipleship Center
- Strengthening our current ministries
- Expanding our outreach efforts both locally and globally
- Resourcing our next campus
In order to accomplish the Extraordinary Challenge, many people shared this vision and invested their resources to make it a reality.
We aligned our resources with our vision through a one-fund giving approach. By viewing our resources as one fund, we elevated the value of all ministry by bringing together special projects and ongoing ministry. And we think elevating the value of all ministry inspires Biblical generosity.
The financial goal of the Extraordinary Challenge was $3.9 million, which accounted for $1.6 million in construction costs and the funding of all our growing TCC ministry throughout the challenge period, May 1, 2014 through April 30, 2016. This funding approach supported more robust growth and a sharpening of the focus of our vision to more effectively reach our community and beyond for Christ.
Looking beyond the Extraordinary Challenge we see our next initiative including continued ministry growth, improvement of the Kildaire Farm Road campus, additional children’s ministry space, and the launch of our next campus.
