Noah’s Landing provides children ages birth through pre-K an opportunity to learn and grow weekly in their faith in a loving and caring environment to hopefully ultimately become believers and followers of Christ.

Take a look at some of the exciting service opportunities in this ministry area:

  • General Supply Coordinator– Make sure that each room is is supplied with general cleaning supplies, office supplies, diaper supplies and snacks.
    • Time Commitment: Some time during the week to make a list of, buy (expenses reimbursed) and stock needed supplies.
    • Rotation: No rotation
  • Welcome Team Coach– Communicate with and encourage the Guides, Check-in Attendants, Hall Monitors and Security Staff. Make sure that the area is clean and fully stocked for Sunday mornings.
    • Time Commitment: Sunday mornings plus some time during the week.  Attend a quarterly meeting.
    • Rotation: No rotation
  • Hall Monitor– Ensure that the approved volunteers are in the classrooms and ready to accept children 20 minutes before the service. Stay in the hallway before and during the service providing security and handling emergencies. Work along side the security staff.
    • Time Commitment: Sunday mornings (one service) 30 minutes before the service through the service.  Attend a quarterly meeting.
    • Rotation: Once or twice a month
  • Security Staff– Ensure that the Noah’s Landing hallway is secure by allowing only the approved volunteers, parents and children into the hallway on Sunday mornings (before, during and after services).  
    • Time Commitment: Sunday mornings (one service) 30 minutes before the service through the service. Attend a quarterly meeting.
    • Rotation: Once or twice a month
  • Check-in Attendant– Greet the children and sign them into Noah’s Landing using our security check-in system
    • Time Commitment: Sunday mornings (one service) 30 minutes before the service through the service. Quarterly meeting.
    • Rotation: Rotating team, once/twice a month
  • Lead Teacher (Nursery, preschool, 2’s)– Give the classroom leadership by directing the class activities, teaching the lesson, etc.
    • Time Commitment: Sunday mornings one service arriving 20 minutes before the service starts plus some time during the week to prepare for lesson.
    • Rotation: Once or twice a month
  • Assistant Teacher (Nursery, preschool, 2’s)– Assist the lead teacher.
    • Time Commitment:  Sunday mornings one service arriving 15 minutes before the service starts plus some time during the week to prepare for lesson. Attend a quarterly meeting
    • Rotation: Once or twice a month
  • 3’s and Preschool Team Coach– Communicate with and encourage the 3’s and preschool small group leaders. Ensure the rooms are clean and fully stocked for Sunday mornings.
    • Time Commitment: Sunday mornings plus some time during the week. Attend a quarterly meeting.
    • Rotation: No rotation
  • Substitute– Fill in for the regular leaders when they are out.
    • Time Commitment: Flexible, as needed.  Sunday mornings arrive 30 minutes before the service starts plus time during the week for lesson preparation.
    • Rotation: No rotation
  • Production Team Coach– Communicate with and encourage the Large Group Teachers, Materials Coordinator, Stage Set Designers, Production Team members.
    • Time Commitment: Sunday mornings plus some time during the week. Attend a quarterly meeting.
    • Rotation: No rotation
  • Large Group Teacher- Communicate the lesson to a group of children using drama, videos, songs, and story telling.
    • Time Commitment: Sunday mornings (both services) arriving early plus 2 hours during the week to memorize and rehearse the lesson script. Attend a quarterly meeting.
    • Rotation: Both Sunday morning services, once a month
  • Stage Set Designer– creates and builds stage sets and props for each unit.
    • Time Commitment: Several hours during the week to create the set and gather props (sets may not change every week). Attend a quarterly meeting.
    • Rotation: No rotation
