Transforming Ordinary People into Extraordinary Followers of Christ

Counseling at TCC

Life brings suffering to us all, both the suffering that comes at the hands of others, and that which we bring on ourselves through our mistakes and sins. Our challenges may include anxiety, depression, addiction, marriage disappointment, anger, or abuse. But no matter what struggle you’re facing, God has hope for you! His Word has answers for the problems of life, and we can help you access these rich resources. We offer free biblical counseling both to our own church family and to those in our community.

Conference: Biblical perspectives on Gender – November 6, 2021

Lately we’ve all heard about “transgenderism”, “gender fluidity”, and the “non-binary”. Does “gender confusion” confuse you? Do you have a loved one who struggles with gender issues? Would you like to develop deeper understanding of these issues so that you can enter lovingly and profitably into the conversation? This conference answers your questions.

One of the experts in the field, Jim Newheiser, helps us both understand this issue from a Biblical perspective and provide us with the coaching to be the voice of Christ in our family’s and friend’s lives. Newheiser is the Director of the Christian Counseling Program and Associate Professor of Christian Counseling and Pastoral Theology at Reformed Theological Seminary–Charlotte and serves on the boards of both the Biblical Counseling Coalition (BCC) and the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC).

In addition, watch and listen to Laura Perry share her story (via video) of living as a man for nine years. Laura came face to face with the tension between her reality and God’s perfect design and tells her story of repentance, faith, restoration, and discovery of God’s mercy as he pursued her desperate soul.
