Application / Challenge
- Read Scripture with gratitude, as a gift the Holy Spirit has preserved for knowledge, faith, and godliness.
- Submit to Scripture with confidence, receiving it as God’s trustworthy authority rather than human opinion.
- Study Scripture with humility, remaining teachable through prayer, teachers, wisdom, and sanctification.
- Obey Scripture with seriousness, bringing the will under the authority of the God who speaks through it.
- Thank the Holy Spirit for Scripture, for giving it to the church and using it to draw believers to Christ.
