This Mother’s Day, we’ll study a godly mother who helped mold a young pastor named Timothy. Despite being shackled in a dark, smelly, cold prison, the Apostle Paul sends one of his warmest letters to encourage Timothy. This letter reveals a forest of qualities emerging from four seeds planted by Timothy’s mother.
Too often, we wander aimlessly through life. But if we want to experience transformation, purpose, and peace, we need a plan. Through Paul’s message to the Thessalonians, we find God’s help in setting priorities to accomplish our shared goals as followers of Jesus Christ.
