We are thrilled that so many women have joined us in the past for the TCC Women’s Spring Retreat. In recent years, spots have filled up very quickly. This year, to ensure our TCC Women have an opportunity to attend, registration opens on 2/18/24 for women who worship regularly at TCC. Registration will open to everyone else beginning 3/4/24. Once all spots are spoken for, we will open a waitlist in the event any spots open up at a later date.
UNDER THE SUN: Growing Deeper
What goes with spring and sunshine? Our annual Women’s Retreat! Join us this year to hear from several of our own TCC sisters as they share how they learned to bear fruit in the “heat” of difficult life situations. Be prepared to laugh, cry, and GROW together!
This year our speaker is Tricia Clement. Tricia helps lead our TCC Women’s ministry, our young moms’ Bible study, and our counseling team. But she says her best claim to fame is being Pastor Dan’s wife!
Fort Caswell is this year’s retreat location and is tucked away on the eastern tip of Oak Island, surrounded by peaceful beaches and expansive grounds, providing a relaxing setting for a retreat weekend. Whether through our speaker’s messages, group discussions, chats on the porch or walks on the beach, you will be blessed during this extended time of fellowship, reflection, renewal and worship.
Retreat Package
Our weekend retreat begins on Friday, April 5, with check-in starting at 5pm. The Friday evening session starts at 6:30pm (Note: there is no dinner provided on Friday so grab a bite on the way). We will be staying in the Smith Conference Center on the Fort Caswell grounds, overlooking the ocean. You and your roommate will share a room with 2 double beds, mini-fridge, and a private bath. If you would like to request a private room (for an additional cost of $35), please enter the word “private” for a roommate when you register and you will be notified as to availability. We offer a limited number of private rooms and they are available on a first-come first-served basis. All of your meals on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday are included as well as snacks and beverages throughout the weekend. We’ll be done by noon on Sunday, April 7. All retreat material is included.
Weekend Schedule
We officially kick off the retreat on Friday evening with the message which is foundational to the rest of the weekend so please make every effort to be there when we start. For our next three sessions, we will be hearing testimonies from several of our TCC women followed by small group discussion. You’ll have free time on Saturday afternoon to relax on the porch, do a craft, check out the fort, or join a group heading into town to shop, hang out on the beach or some other fun activity. When we wrap up Sunday morning, even though you will be checked out of your room, you are welcome to stay on the grounds for the day.

- A non-refundable $100 deposit locks-in your registration
- Accounts must be ‘paid in full’ by Sunday, March 31, to reserve your spot
