When it comes to ourselves we all like second chances! This week we dig into the third chapter of Jonah which has been called, ‘The gospel of the second chance’. This chapter shows that God is waiting for us to take advantage of second chances to serve Him and this is truly good news.
In the second chapter of Jonah, we find a man at prayer. We see three important components of Jonah’s prayer life:(1) confession, (2) praise, and (3) repentance.
We find Jonah, the prodigal prophet, in a three-fold relationship: with God, with the pagan sailors, and with the fish. What do we learn from each of them?
