We start up our new Awana season with our annual Ice Cream Kickoff!
A couple of things we need as we start up:
- Register!!! All kids and leaders must register each year so we can update contact info, know what our uniform, book, and bookbag ordering needs are.
- K-6th grade kids register at this Clubber Registration link so we can be prepared for them with a name sticker and know all the ordering and personal information we need
- Volunteers register at this Volunteer Registration link so I can know ordering needs and where you are serving
- Cubbies (2 years pre-K) require a parent volunteer, so Cubbies are registered along with Volunteers at this Volunteer Registration link.
- Come ready to reconnect with old friends, meet new ones, and eat ice cream!!!
- Leaders should be present by 6 PM to facilitate the night’s events
- Kids should be there by 6:15 pm. We will have check-in lines they will have to get through.
- It’s an unusual night as we enjoy ice cream during GameTime, and help the kids get a good understanding of what’s to come!
- We’ll have leader introductions during Announcements
- Parents, please stay so you can see a little bit of what Awana is about
- We still need some adult leaders, so check it out and see if it’s something you’d enjoy. I do, and I think you will too!

You can find out more information about Awana Clubs at TCC by reading or printing our Awana Club Information Sheet 2023-2024. That sheet will tell you what Awana is all about, when to bring your kids in, when and where to pick them up, costs, etc. The Awana Club Permission Form will also be available at the Welcome Center at TCC in hardcopy form. You may want to bring a checkbook to pay for uniforms, handbooks, and dues as necessary if you don’t pay during registration. The associated costs are located in the Information Sheet.
