This Wednesday we will all be learning about the Operation Christmas Child ministry and receiving a pamphlet that explains how we can participate in this ministry that we support through Awana. Please lelt your child know how many boxes you would like them to bring home for your family, should you decide to participate. We don’t want any wasted boxes, and your kids may not know that you’ve already packed a box. This is an opportunity for our Awana families to be Jesus to less fortunate children throughout the world by giving gifts that meet basics needs, gifts that bring fun to their lives, and the gift of eternal life through the gospel message of Jesus Christ. Participation is encouraged, but not required. Your child will be bringing home a pamphlet that explains exactly what to do if you decide to participate, including what types of items to pack in your shoebox. Shoeboxes will be collected in two weeks at Awana!
FYI … there is one more week to earn the sections needed to qualify for Pie Night!
